Updates Showcase Arrives on pikadudeno1.com's Front Page!

It's about time I started delivering on the Nov 2016 Near-term Website Roadmap items, yeah? Starting off, we have Updates Showcase, a major upgrade over NewsWave for telling you what's new on pikadudeno1.com!

Updates Showcase keeps the same fancy zoomy list of updates that inspired me to name the predecessor "NewsWave", but re-implements it for more smoothness and performance. Furthermore, it no longer makes you read an update you've selected in that same tiny space - say hello to a new reader window! And since updates list and reader need no longer share the same space, I've removed the fixed size limit from the updates list, and will let it grow to accomodate as many items as I put in it without the need for scrolling. All in all, it's a muchly polished way to find out what's happening here!

As always, Updates Showcase pulls its data from the same RSS feed you could add to your preferred feed reader - handy if you prefer a way of staying informed that isn't made by a Web developer blatantly showing off.
